Dear Dr. Funt:

We are happy to extend an invitation to you to spend the term of your fellowship
from the National Research Council of Canada here at the Stanford Artificial
Intelligence Laboratory.  We understand that you will be here for a year beginning
March 1, 1976.  As is our usual custom with visitors, we will provide office
space but it is of course understood that we can in no way provide any funds
for you during your stay.

We believe that your visit with us will be fruitful to us both and look forward
to your arrival.

In order to obtain a DSP-66 certificate of eligibility from the University,
the information on the attached questionnaire is needed.  Upon obtaining
this information from you, a DSP-66 form will be send to you.  If you have
